| Mix well and spread in a well buttered(really low fat oleo if you prefer) 8 X 8 or 9 X 9 pan. Cut 2-3 cups of apples into fine chuncks and spread over the batter. Sprinkle 1 cup cinnamon red hots over the apples. This is the only sugar in the cake so nearly all diabetics can eat some of it. Soften 1 pkg. Knox gelatin in 1 cup cool water then bring it to nearly a boil. Pour it over the red hots and apples. Bake at 350* about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
